The Crimson Hall
Update; Tankspot How to Videos uploaded (10 man only)
The second gate unlocks and reveals the crimson hall. Here, I will create a aggregate of the information available for this corridor. Firstly, there are only 2 bosses but like any player may have guess, they each require coordination. They also require that you make sure your copy of
http://www.deadlybossmods.com/
is fully up to date. /Sign at the end when you feel ready to take on the Blood. Also, feel free to add any comments or suggestions. The videos will be updated when the more desired "How To" videos become available.
The DKP donations list (week 1) is obsolete
Blood Prince Council

Invocation of Blood will randomly buff one of the Blood Princes and only that Prince will have a health bar to DPS. The other Princes will have 1 HP and attacking them will have no effect. Invocation of blood switches between princes throughout the encounter and DPS must switch with it. Prince Valanar will be the first Prince with Invocation of Blood.
A properly specced Warlock will be the most useful class for tanking Prince Keleseth. Dark Nucleii will spawn in the room around Keleseth and the Warlock must get aggro on them and stand near them. They will give the Warlock a stacking debuff that reduces shadow damage taken, allowing the warlock to survive Empowered Shadow Lance which is cast when Keleseth gains Invocation of Blood. Dark Nucleii should not be hit too hard and also destroy themselves over time, neccesitating finding more to keep the shadow resonance buff up.
Prince Valanar will use Kinetic Bombs which can be targetted and attacked to bounce them higher in the air and prevent them from exploding. He puts shock vortexes on random raid members which knock both them and any nearby raid members back 50 yards. When he gains Invocation of Blood he casts Empowered Shock Vortex which creates a shock vortex on top of every player within 30 yards, melee will need to scatter and get away from him.
Prince Taldaram will do a frontal cone fire attack and conjure balls of flame which follow a random raid member and do less damage the longer they are kited, minimum 10,000 damage. With Invocation of Blood he will launch Empowered Balls of Flame which do a huge amount of damage on impact and lesser damage to nearby targets along the way, doing less impact damage depending on how many players were hit while the ball was in flight.
The three princes all share a health pool, however, only the prince empowered through Invocation of Blood can be DPSed.
This fight is about quick DPS switches and proper handling the many different abilities that each prince will throw at you.
Positioning is extremely fluid in this fight due to the many abilities that require movement. As a rule, ranged should be spread out 15 yards apart, though "perfect" positioning isn't as important as, say, DBS. Doing this will lessen the impact of Taldaram's Conjured Flames and Valanar's Shock Vortex. Also, Taldaram must be faced away from the raid as he does a frontal cone. Valanar should be kept a fair bit away from the other two princes due to his knock-backs.
Invocation of Blood
The Darkfallen Orb empowers a Blood Prince, granting him more formidable abilities.
At the start of the video, you can see that the central prince (Valanar) has a Divine Aegis looking bubble around him. You will also note the other princes have 1 HP. The prince with the orb will be attack-able and empowered, while the other two are immune to damage and dish out "normal" attacks. In essence, follow the bouncing ball. If you find yourself attacking a prince with 1HP, your wrong.
The key to this fight is fast target switches and everyone in the raid being mindful of the myriad of abilities and their empowered versions. High raid awareness, as always, is clutch.
Three tanks: two physical, one ranged (Keleseth). CAN you tank Keleseth with a physical tank? Yup, sure can. But its an overall DPS loss to do so if your third tank has a decent gear for his/her DPS offspec.
Don't face Taldaram into the raid.
Don't stand in swirling circles of doom.
Run away from the big orange ball when it wants to play with you.
It will not be a happy new year if you let the little white/orange ball hit the ground.
Instead, dps them down. Heres a macro line that will help;
/target Kinetic Bomb
If you're DPSing a boss with 1HP, you are not doing it right.
Blood Queen Lana'thel
The majority of the fight is spent in the land phase 1, interrupted occasionally by healing intensive phase 2. During the land phase, you will want a few things kept in check. Two tanks will have to swap on the boss, so they don't get overwhelmed by the bleed from Delirious Slash. The tanks will also have to be close to each other - the OT needs to be the closest player to the MT, so they soak the damage transferred through Blood Mirror. Other players will want to be relatively spread out (at 6-10 yards range), but still close enough to be able to run to each other quickly when Pact of the Darkfallen happens. Run out of the mandatory void zones Swarming Shadows, of course.
The trick to the fight is to not run out of people to bite as a vampire. Since Lana'thel will bite a player every 20-30 seconds or so, and those players will need to bite somebody after a minute, you may find yourself running out of people very soon.
Do not risk and wait to bite another player though, as a single person gone frenzy can and will wipe the raid. Keep in mind, biting requires melee range with the target.
Phase 2 lasts only a few seconds and is preceded by the spawning of a few Blood Whirls throughout the room. Make note of them and spread out so you are at least 6 yards away from each other. Healers will have to heal through the high damage the raids will take, and then phase 1 will re-start.

Psytz's contribution;
That's the link too the encounter mechanics , and this lil quote below is what some guy figured out to be the soft - well hard enrage timer of 4 minutes ... plus the timing of bites etc.
00:00 -
00:30 - Lana'thel creates Vampyr 1.
01:00 - Lana'thel creates Vampyr 2.
01:30 - Vampyr 1 bites, creating Vampyr 3. Lana'thel creates Vampyr 4.
02:00 - Vampyr 2 bites, creating Vampyr 5. Lana'thel creates Vampyr 6.
02:30 - Vampyrs 1, 3 and 4 bite, creating Vampyrs 7, 8 and 9. Lana'thel creates Vampyr 10.
03:00 - Vampyrs 2, 5, and 6 bite, creating Vampyrs 11, 12, and 13. Lana'thel creates Vampyr 14.
03:30 - Vampyrs 1, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, and 10 bite, creating Vampyrs 15 to 21. Lana'thel creates Vampyr 22.
04:00 - Vampyrs 2, 5, 6 bite, creating Vampyrs 23-25. Vampyrs 11, 12, 13, & 14 cannot bite and become mind controlled.
04:30 - Vampyrs 1, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, & 22 are forced to become mind controlled, pretty much guaranteeing a wipe.
If you wanted too throw up that info in a sexy announcement post Outlier then feel free to do so !(Thank you. I think i will in fact)

This fight is about judicious use of the Essence of the Blood Queen mechanic, proper execution of tank switches (possibly), big spike raid heals, and hot, nasty bad-ass deeps.
The same positioning used for Jaraxxus. DPS & Heals in a max ranged circle with tanks, boss, & melee in the center.
Vampiric Bite
Instant Cast. Unknown frequency [speculative 30sec].
Deals 13875 to 16125 damage to the target, granting them..
Essence of the Blood Queen
Instant Cast. Duration 50sec.
You are infused with the blood of the Vampyr Queen. Damage done increased by 100%. Attacks heal recipient [speculative 10-15%]. Attacks cause no threat. At the end of the duration, target gains Frenzied Bloodthirst (See below).
This is the keystone mechanic for this fight. What I am speculating will be every 30sec, BQL will bite a random raid member, causing them to become a Vampyr. The fledgling Vampyr raid member will deal double damage for 50sec, and have the bonus of healing a percentage of each attack.
Frenzied Bloodthirst
Instant. Duration 10sec.
The caster must satiate their need for blood, otherwise they will lose their will to Queen Lana'thel.
Basically, after 50sec of being awesome, your hotkeys will change allowing you to only use Vampiric Bite (as seen above). You cannot bite other Vampyrs. If you bite someone not infected, you will get a new 50sec duration on Essence. If you fail to bite anyone in 10sec, you get to become MC'd by BQL, gaining...
Uncontrollable Frenzy
Instant.
Charmed. Increases damage done by 100%. Health increased by 300%. Increases healing done by 1000%.
This is bad. You fail. Fail. FAIL. Why did you wipe us? Do you NOT like us? We have to set up ALL OVER again. That means another Fish Feast, dozens of varied regents, hundreds of combined gold in repair all because you did it WRONG.
So in essence (get it?), with BQL biting someone every 30sec and perfect execution of the mechanic you have 4min until four raid members are forced to become MC'd. 4:30 into the fight, you will have 19 members MC'd. This is why it is imperative that your highest DPS get bitten as soon as possible, and why healers and tanks should be last to be bitten. You need every drop of DPS for this. Save hero/bl until the 3:30 mark, or until most of your DPS are bitten.
Pact of the Darkfallen
Instant.
Deals growing Shadow damage to you and 2 other non-linked allies. This effect expires when all linked targets are within 5 yards of each other.
Remember Yoggy's Brain Link? Red beams are bad, yellow beams are good. Same thing, except it dissipates after all 3 linked raiders are within 5yds of each other. With a Jaraxxus type positioning, have the 3 linked meet in the melee clump.
Swarming Shadows
Instant.
Swarming shadows inflict 2775 to 3225 damage every 1 sec for 6sec.
Remember Lord Jaraxxus' Legion Flame? Same thing except purple. Execute as you would Legion Flame.
Facts to live (and die) by;
(1) The key to this fight is prioritizing Essence to your (top)DPS first. Even with this, the DPS requirement for BQL is insane. Healers must be prepared for both heavy spike damage and constant raid wide damage.
(2) Two tanks are needed, with possible switches if Delirious Slash goes live.
(3) Red beams are bad, yellow beams are good. Make your healers happy and move to the center ASAP when linked.
(4) Don't stand in Legion Fla... I mean... Swarming Shadows. Purple fire bad.
(5) Set up your bite priorities. You'll be able to choose your first bite approx 1:20ish into the fight. That person should be your top DPS. After most DPS are bitten, drop Hero/BL. After approx. the 4min mark, you will have four MC'd players. They must die ASAP, or CC'd if possible. After approx. the 4:30 mark, you will have 15 more MCs. If you aren't about to drop BQL by this point, you have wiped. It is unknown if MC persists through death. If not, you can drop SS on the 3rd (1st chosen DPS) person to get hit with Essence (or Brez).
(6) !!!!!!!!UPDATE!!!!!!!! Ok. So here is an idea that was started by a poster in this thread. Now, I'm throwing up red flags all over the place on this one because it all hinges on mechanic information that is unknown:
(a) IF Essence does NOT persist through death, (IE you die and are brez'd or SS'd without the debuff), then it may be possible to add another min to the "mass MC" timer.
(b) You need 3 total of either brezes or SSs. (IE- 2locks/1druid, 3druid, 1lock/2druid)
(c) You let the first 3 people BQL bites die (with a way to rez of course). So RaiderA gets bit. RaiderA gets a SS and is cut off from healing. RaiderA dies and uses SS to pop back up without Essence. Repeat for RaiderB&C.
(d) By doing this, you effectively reset the timer on the exponential Vampyr growth (similar to how shields and DIs slow down DBS's exponential BP growth) and giving yourself to the 5:30 until the MCs are overwhelming. In fact, you get a full 30sec with all 25 raiders bitten and no MCs.
Remember this all hinges on the 30sec Vamp Bite going live and Essence NOT persisting through death, which I am far from willing to call locked. I would, however, stick this in the back of your heads when you start to run out of ideas.
This encounter is a huge test on DPS and raid healing.
As always, huge props to Tankspot, MMO-champion, youtube, wowhead, wowwiki all of which I have used to comprise this guide.
